Writing

For writing.
We had to compose a story that could have only 50-60 words. Either mom or we could pick the subject to write about. It is harder than you think to limit yourself to only 50-60 words. On my first try I had 75-80 words. I had to cram it down several times until I finally got to the word limit.

Here is mine:

Sleep over at Sam's

Nestled under the covers we whispered...

Trying to retain our exploding laughter.
The room was sleepy -

we were about the

only lively things in it.

With each expression we spoke..

we achieved a new volume.

One subject changing to another...

Until suddenly we heard the door creek open.

“Go to bed!” mom whispered insistently.

We drifted off.

The Sister Sleepover

This is so fun... O.K. We are having a sister sleepover.
We are having it with Crista Nice my sister.
Hannah, Crista, and I are going to have a great sleepover.
We are going to have so much Fun!!
We are going to have a 'Store Hunt', massages, hair dues, movie, and much more.
